The Resource Materials and Technology Center for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (RMTC:D/HH) and the Outreach Services for the Blind/Visually Impaired and Deaf/Hard of Hearing (OSBD) are statewide discretionary projects housed on the campus of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) with the mission to support the education of students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Blind/Visually Impaired in the State of Florida.
RMTC:D/HH, established in 1978, is a statewide specialized center and has functioned as part of the Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) Network. OSBD was established in 2002 to support small/rural districts. Both projects work together and collaborate with other agencies, associations, and discretionary projects to meet the needs of those serving students from birth to the age of 22.
Services from both OSBD and RMTC are available by request and at no charge.

The Resource Materials and Technology Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (FDLRS/RMTC) and the Outreach Services for the Blind and Deaf (OSBD) is funded by the State of Florida, Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education Student Services through a grant agreement with the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
